13 Oct Customer Service Week 2022
At Fleet Response, we pride ourselves on our high levels of customer service and ensuring a positive customer experience within every aspect of the business. To celebrate National Customer Service Week, October 3rd ā 7th, the Leadership Education and Development (LEaD) team planned a week full of engaging activities, contests and other fun games for all employees, with the theme āCelebrate Serviceā.
Each day, the team shared videos of employees answering questions related to customer service and explaining what exceptional customer service means to them. Head over to our LinkedIn and Facebook pages to listen to what they had to say.
āWe are in a customer service heavy industryā, said Senior Subrogation Specialist and LEaD team member, Joe Rogel. āItās important to remember the significance of customer relationships and how they drive our business. We strive for best-in-class service, and this has allowed us an entire week to remind people of that.ā
All Fleet Response employees received 5 tickets to enter in a raffle with amazing prizes. Throughout the week, employees had the opportunity to win additional raffle tickets by participating in various contests.
One of the daily activities consisted of the LEaD team hosting a customer service meme contest. Employees created customer service themed memes and voted on their favorite during the day. At the end of the day, the creators of the 10 memes with the most votes received additional raffle tickets.
The LEaD team also provided breakfast and drinks for both the Fleet Response offices. The executive team, managers and supervisors created an inspiration wall with their favorite inspirational quotes for employees to view while enjoying their breakfast.
Employees had the opportunity to participate in a customer service scavenger hunt during the week as well. The virtual scavenger hunt required employees to refer to videos posted throughout the week for answers. Those who answered all questions correctly received an extra ticket.
There was also a week-long activity called āCan-structionā, a canned food drive competition in which each team constructed a sculpture with their donations. Many creative designs were made including the Subrogation teamās money symbol, Client Development and Accountingās traffic cones, and the incredible āCan-structionā winning design of Dodgerās stadium from Team Jorge.
āI feel it is very important for companies to come together and give back to their communitiesā, said Grace Bradac, LEaD team member and Senior Client Support Coordinator. āCan-struction allowed us to give back to local food banks in Ohio and California, as well as create a fun way for departments to work togetherā, she went on to say.
All items used in Can-struction were donated to the Summit County food bank and the West Valley food bank. In total, we gave over 1,500 pounds of canned goods and other non-perishable items to the Summit County food bank in Ohio and the West Valley food bank in California.
Members of the LEaD team saw the week as a huge success. Claims Supervisor, Sam Ryba said, āAny time that we can show our employees how much we appreciate them is always a win in my book. The company pulled together and had an amazing turn out for the canned food drive, donating over 1,000 items to local food banks. I consider that alone to be a success!ā
Thank you to the Leadership Education and Development team for planning an incredible Customer Service Week and thank you to all of our hardworking employees who continually provide best in class customer service.
