As the collision repair industry confronts the rapid addition of new technologies, lightweight new vehicle materials, new driver safety systems, and up-to-date collision repair training is more critical now than ever.  Stuart Braun, Adjusters & Maintenance Manager, agrees that obtaining these certifications are crucial in providing high quality customer service at Fleet Response. Our current team of adjusters at Fleet Response, collectively have almost 100 years of combined experience working in body shops.

WHAT’S INVOLVED IN EARNING THESE CERTIFICATIONS?

I-CAR training gives collision repair staff and auto physical damage appraisers the up-to-date knowledge and skills to stay competitive and to stay proficient in today’s fast-changing collision repair techniques. Benefits of I-CAR training include increasing customer satisfaction, improving technical skills, and keeping up with technological change. Each level progressively builds upon prior learning to continually advance professional knowledge and skills. To enhance their training further, Braun and his team visit repair shops to see firsthand the new technology and talk with the technicians. Additionally, they regularly complete classes that are online and offsite.

“The Adjusters and Maintenance team members at Fleet Response are I-Car Platinum trained. I-Car Gold and Platinum designations are recognitions of progressive levels of training. Fleet Response has obtained Gold for the company recognition and Platinum for each individual,” said Braun.

Fleet Response has held Gold recognition since 2004 and continues to cultivate and train new team members to obtain this same level of knowledge.

To maintain Gold Class, Fleet Response continues to develop the knowledge and skills of its staff to advanced levels. As subject matter experts, Fleet Response demonstrates to our customers, staff, and the industry that we are committed to the highest standards of professionalism and service.
