Cleveland, Ohio, June 13, 2018 — Fleet Response is proud to announce Angela Skuza as the winner of the 2018 Ron and Fran Mawaka Employee of the Year Award. Finalists included Blanca Mars, Call Center Representative, Robert Kevern, Subrogation Supervisor, Robert Killian, Database Developer, Angelique Griffin, Claims Representative and Amy Castro, Claims Representative.

Fleet Response employees and Founder Ron Mawaka, Sr. gathered alongside President & CEO Scott Mawaka for the announcement of the finalists and winner of the 4^th annual Employee of the Year award.

The Employee of the Year award was created in 2015 by Ron Mawaka and his wife Fran as a way to recognize and reward Fleet Response employees who show exemplary individual achievement, contribution, and performance in their jobs. Employees are nominated by their peers, and finalists are chosen by the Fleet Response Executive Team. Each of the five finalists are presented with a $1,000 check and the 2018 award winner receives a $5,000 check.

Fleet Response was founded by Ron Mawaka Sr. in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1986 as Rental Concepts, Inc. (RCI). Ron’s sons, Scott Mawaka and Ron Mawaka Jr., have both been extremely involved with the family-owned business, with Scott recently purchasing the company from the shareholders to ensure it remains privately-held and family-run.
