Insurance Industry leaders from across the country were formally welcomed to the event during an evening reception on November 2nd in downtown Cleveland. Following introductions, led by Fleet Response Executive Vice President Allison Lanzilotta, guests enjoyed an evening of entertainment and networking with their industry peers.
Following up on the successful opening reception, Fleet Response hosted event attendees at their corporate headquarters in Independence, OH on November 3rd. Guests were guided through an office tour before reconvening for the keynote address given by Brian Passell, former President of Claims at Progressive Insurance and current Founder and Managing Partner of Razors Edge Consulting. Mr. Passell’s interactive keynote address highlighted current challenges in the auto insurance industry with specific focus on subrogation. Mr. Passell also encourage attendees to focus on their core competencies and to look for partners to assist in areas that are not a part of their core. Following the keynote address, Fleet Response hosted breakout sessions led by members of its Client Services team. The breakouts focused on industry topics relative to bringing more visibility to the claims handling process, proper preparation of outbound subrogation files, proper review and adjusting of inbound subrogation demands, and a review of the analytics that drive oversight and continuous improvement.
“For many insurance carriers, coordinating APD claims for first and third parties can be tedious and an administrative burden” said Allison Lanzilotta. “For us it’s our core strength, expertise and passion. With this event we wanted to provide an environment that encouraged matching industry needs with innovative ideas that hopefully lead to building and reinforcing successful and mutually beneficial partnerships.”
Guests later enjoyed time at the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Boston Celtics NBA game, even getting the opportunity to have their photo taken with the Larry O’Brien NBA Championship trophy.
