30 Mar Fleet Response Hosts NAFA Great Lakes Chapter Meeting
Cleveland, Ohio, March 22, 2016 —Fleet Response hosted a NAFA Great Lakes Chapter meeting at their corporate headquarters in Independence, Ohio on Tuesday, March 22, 2016.
25 Northeast Ohio fleet industry leaders attended the meeting which began with a tour of Fleet Response’s newly remodeled office. Following a catered lunch, Jerry Veres, Fleet Response’s Safety Program Coordinator, delivered a presentation focused on the need to limit distractions and change driver habits in order to reduce accidents.
Prior to joining Fleet Response, Jerry spent 19 years with FedEx Ground, where he most recently specialized in Corporate Safety with a focus on driver safety and qualification files, DOT & OSHA compliance, hours of service and hazardous materials. In his current role, Veres oversees the creation and implementation of new safety training programs along with reviewing current procedures for DOT & OSHA compliance as part of developing proactive safety initiatives.
