Meet Our 2024 Summer Interns

Fleet Response is thrilled to greet the newest class of interns for our 2024 summer term. This diverse group of aspiring professionals represents the future, bringing their fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and a passion for learning. This 12-week program offers an invaluable chance for students to gain hands-on experience within a professional environment. They will have the opportunity to hone their communication skills, build meaningful connections with our team, and gain hands-on experience in various departments.Ā 

Claims

Eight students will be guided by our Claims department, where they will receive assistance in the processing, investigation, and settlement of insurance claims.Ā 

Ā Akasha Wilberg: Akasha, a soon-to-be senior at Baldwin Wallace University, is studying Public Relations and Social Media Production. When she is not busy, she enjoys listening to music and reading. ā€œThe specific skills and knowledge I hope to gain during my time at Fleet Response are teamwork and collaboration. I would like to enhance that skill set while learning how to conduct myself in a professional environment.ā€Ā

Audrey Livesay: Audrey, a rising junior at the University of Mount Union, is pursuing a degree in Finance and Accounting. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and working out as well as representing her school on the basketball team. ā€œI am looking forward to gain some experience working in an office setting and am looking to grow my professional communication skills and problem-solving abilities’.”

 

 

 

BradĀ Backston: Brad, eager to start his senior year The University of Cincinatti, is pursuing studies in Finance. When he is free, Brad enjoys weightlifting, playing cards with friends, and sports. ā€œI hope to gain better time management skills along with furthering my communication ability during my time at Fleet Response.ā€

 

 

 

Casey Noffsinger: Casey, a rising senior at The University of Akron, is pursuing a degree in Accounting. During his free time, he enjoys restoring classic cars, fishing, and spending quality time with his friends and family. ā€œSome skills I hope to get from working at Fleet Response are working in groups in a business setting and working on my communication and customer service skills.ā€Ā 

 

 

 

Christian Rutan: Christian, on the brink of his senior year at Kent State University, is pursuing a degree in Marketing and Management. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, snowboarding, and traveling. ā€œI hope to gain better communication, technical, and organizational skills over the summer as well as develop further on a professional level.ā€Ā 

 

 

 

Cole Jones: Cole, a soon-to-be senior at Miami University, is pursuing a degree in Finance. WhenĀ  he is free, he enjoys hanging out with friends, traveling, fishing, and watching sports. ā€œI hope to gain communication, professionalism, time-management, and critical thinking skills toĀ foster growth for my future career. I hope to make connections with the other interns and workers to increase my teamworking skills to have a great summer experience!ā€

 

 

 

Leah Ploskunak: Leah, a rising sophomore at Xavier University, is double majoring in International Studies and Economics. In her free time, she loves to cook, bake, read, hang out with friends, and play club lacrosse for her school. ā€œThis summer, Iā€™m really looking forward to improving my communication skills. Iā€™m also very excited to work in an office to see if it is something Iā€™d like to do once I graduate from school.ā€Ā 

 

 

Sarah Gessler: Sarah, on the verge of embarking on her senior year at Kent State University, is studying Business Management. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks, hiking, cooking healthy meals, and learning about nutrition. ā€œDuring my time at Fleet Response, I aim to gain real-world experience in a business environment by applying what I have learned in the classroom to real life problems and situations. I believe this internship will contribute to my professional growth and that I can offer innovative ideas to the team as well. I anticipate that overall, I will strengthen my communication skills, time management, and teamwork in this internship.ā€Ā 

 

Vendor Coordination

Our Vendor Coordination department will host one student, focusing on the outreach to body shops and updating information.Ā 

Avery Tracz: Avery, soon to enter her senior year at Ohio University, is pursuing studies in Marketing along with Advertising and Public Relations. In her free time, she enjoys her time outside, spending time with friends and family, running, and using her creativity skills on Canva to craft designs and flyers. ā€œDuring my time at Fleet Response, I hope to learn and grow professionally by meeting new people and learning about the different departments of the company. I hope to enhance my communication skills, as well as expand my professionalĀ work.ā€Ā 

 

 

Accounting

One student will be hosted by our Accounting department, where they will receive assistance in auditing, third-party processing, financial data entry, and updating collections sheets.

Cade Tonozzi: Cade, on the brink of his senior year at Miami University, is spending his time studying Finance. Outside of his studies, he loves to golf, work out, and spend time with his friends and family. ā€œSome skills Iā€™m hoping to gain and improve on during my time at Fleet Response include my interpersonal skills and time management. Overall, Iā€™m hoping to further my knowledge of finance and accounting as a whole and experiencing how a finance/accounting department operates within a company of this magnitude.ā€Ā Ā 

 

 

Subrogation

Our Subrogation department is hosting three students this summer and assisting them in inputting police report information, managing documentation, and communicating with stake holders.Ā 

Elizabeth Saliga: Elizabeth, gearing up for her sophomore year at The Ohio State University, is focused on pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing tennis, and spending time with friends. ā€œDuring my time at Fleet Response, I hope to gain insight into what working in an office is like, and I want to work on my communication skills.ā€

 

 

 

Jackson Thomas: Jackson, on the cusp of his senior year at The Ohio State University, is studying Finance. Outside of his academic pursuits, he enjoys golfing. ā€œWhat I hope to gain this summer is learning to work in an office environment, and hopefully learning useful skills and information in the business world that will better prepare me for my future.ā€Ā 

 

 

 

 

Keshav Mody: Keshav, set to enter his junior year at New York University, is delving into Economics and Entertainment Business. Outside of academics, he enjoys playing tennis, flying his drone, and traveling. ā€œDuring my time as an intern, I hope to strengthen my skills as a professional, from communication to adaptability. Most importantly, I am looking forward to gaining more corporate experience and learning about the world of insurance with Fleet Response this summer.ā€Ā 

 

 

 

Marketing

Our Marketing department will host one intern this summer, gaining hands-on experience in conducting research, unleashing creativity, and crafting engaging graphics.Ā 

Emma Demming: Emma, a soon-to-be senior at Ohio University, is currently pursuing a degree in Communications and Journalism. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, shopping, listening to music, and spending quality time with her friends and family. ā€œWith this being the second summer I am interning with Fleet Response, I am so eager to learn even more than what I did my first time around. I am excited to expand my knowledge in how to write an exceptional article, how to create an eye-catching graphic, and how to really develop my portfolio.ā€Ā 

 

 

Special Projects

Our Special Projects department will host one intern this summer where they will learn how to organize special company events.Ā 

Ethan Crecco: Ethan, a second-year senior at Grand Canyon University, is pursuing a degree in Data Analytics. When he is not studying, Ethan enjoys anything active and competitive such as golf, basketball, and running. ā€œI hope to grow in Strategic Planning, Project Management, and Budget Organization!ā€Ā 

 

 

 

Call Center

Our Call Center will host one student and assist them in handling a wide variety of inquiries, requests, and concerns while providing assistance, information, and support to callers.Ā Ā 

Justin Allsopp: Justin, set to enter his seniorĀ year at Kent State University, is a passionate Marketing major. In his free time, Justin enjoys playing bass guitar and being involved in student organizations on campus. He can also be found on his back deck enjoying the weather with his cat, Ophelia. ā€œDuring my time at Fleet Response, I hope to gain useful experience from working together in teams in an office setting to preparing myself for a post-graduation career.ā€Ā 

 

 

Maintenance

Our Maintenance department will be hosting one student this summer where they will gain experience in how to request invoices and go through purchase orders.Ā 

Ā Michael Raymer: Michael, set to enter his senior year at The Ohio State University, is passionate about studying Finance. When he is free, Michael enjoys hanging out with friends and family, hiking, fishing, hunting, golfing, working out, reading, listening to music, and riding bikes. ā€œI hope to gain some experience and knowledge of working in an office and learn the cadence and speed of an environment of a place like this, find out what I enjoy and what I donā€™t enjoy about the workplace so I can decide what direction I want to head once I graduate.ā€Ā 

 

IT

Our IT department will host one student this summer and help them in mastering the management and upkeep of technology systems while providing assistance in programming tasks.


Michael Scheeser: Michael, eager to start his senior year at Ohio University, studies Computer Science. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games, hiking, bowling, reading, and playing the guitar. ā€œI hope to continue to grow my programming knowledge and learn about the environment of a programming job.ā€ Ā 

 

 

 

Safety

Our Safety department will host one student, learning how to provide support to users, generate weekly reports, and run vehicle records.Ā Ā 

Reagan Miele: Reagan, eager to start her sophomore year at the University of Kentucky, is studying Integrated Strategic Communications. When she is free, Regan enjoys cooking, working out, and shopping. ā€œDuring my internship, I hope to develop attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Along with that, I look forward to gaining valuable insights into office etiquette and understanding workplace dynamics.ā€Ā
