21 Dec Fleet Response Employees Prepare Over 20,000 Meals for Those in Need
In the spirit of giving, Fleet Response is excited to announce that we have partnered with the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank in Ohio, and the Family Rescue Center in California, to give employees the opportunity to give back this holiday season.
Throughout November and December, 122 Fleet Response employees volunteered at local foodbanks, preparing and packaging over 23,000 meals for the less fortunate of our local communities. Remote employees also participated by volunteering at a local food bank of their choice.
Our employees assisted in sorting and packaging the food into boxes. The food is then distributed to people in need through food pantries, hot meal sites, children or senior programs or other hunger-relief programs.
The Akron Canton Foodbank serves eight counties in Northeast Ohio to fight hunger, including Carrol, Holmes, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas, and Wayne counties. The Family Rescue Center serves individuals and families in the West San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, providing food, clothing, and other essential services to those in need.
āWe are blessed to have the opportunity to serve our community through volunteering efforts this holiday season. Itās incredible to see over 100 employees sign up and dedicate time to help fight hunger in our local communities,ā said Fleet Response President, Allison Lanzilotta.
