06 Jul Fleet Response Employees Once Again Participate in the WWCTY Virtual 5K and 1-Mile Walk
For the second year, Fleet Response employees participated in the Where Will Color Take You? Virtual 5k and 1 Mile Walk. In partnership with the Sherwin-Williams Womenās Club and Youth Challenge, Fleet Response was a proud race sponsor of this virtual race to benefitĀ Youth ChallengeĀ who provides adaptive sports and recreational opportunities for children with physical disabilities in the Greater Cleveland Area.
Participants had from June 19th through July 4th, to run, walk or roll in the 5K or 1-Mile event on their own time and own course. There were also suggested course routes, in which Fleet Response had two routes this year. One was near our current headquarters in Independence. The route took you through Cuyahoga Valley National Park on the Towpath Trail. The newly added route took employees through Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, which is close to our brand-new headquarters in Hudson.
91 Fleet Response employees participated in this virtual event and color took them all throughout Ohio, as well as several other states.
āWe are so proud to be a sponsor for this event and partner with Youth Challenge and the Sherwin Williams Womenās Club,ā said Scott Mawaka, CEO and President of Fleet Response. “This event provides us a wonderful opportunity to be part of a greater cause of helping the community where we live and work in.ā
The Where Will Color Take You? Virtual 5K and 1 Mile Walk had nearly 500 participants and raised more than $80,000 to benefit Youth Challenge.
