24 Sep Fleet Response Holds Ceremonial Groundbreaking for New Headquarters

Hudson, Ohio- September 23, 2020- With shovels in hand, the Fleet Response Executive Leadership team celebrated the start of construction for their new headquarters with a traditional groundbreaking ceremony at the new building location in Hudson, Ohio.

The celebration was joined by the City of Hudson Chief Economic Officer Jim Stifler and City Manager Jane Howington, along with representatives Geis Construction and Panzica Construction.

The new building is designed to meet the growing needs of our employees and will include an outside walking path, cafeteria area with access to the outside, a workout facility, and individual and collaborative work areas. The 2-story, 43,000 square foot office space exclusively for our team, will provide our staff with more collaboration spaces while continuing to support remote work.

“We needed a headquarters that represents who we are as a company. We want to create a modern office that is energizing, collaborative and inclusive. When you look at the renderings, without any doubt, the new office space represents who we are and what we stand for. Our new headquarters will exemplify our culture and reflect the commitment from our employees that has driven our success to who we are now,” said CEO and President, Scott Mawaka.

Also speaking at the event was City of Hudson’s Chief Economic Officer Jim Stifler.  “We could not be more excited to welcome Fleet Response to our great city,” said Stifler. “Fleet Response is a future facing company, meaning you have identified tomorrow’s problems today and are addressing them.”

Throughout construction, employees will remain at their current location (6450 Rockside Woods, Independence), and will continue to work there until completion of the new facilities. Occupancy is targeted for September of 2021. The new location will be the base for approximately 200 Fleet Response employees with capacity for growth.
