Fleet Response Hosts ALS Fundraiser

Cleveland, Ohio, April 11, 2017 —Fleet Response employees participated in a fundraiser raising money and awareness in support of the ALS Association.

Supporting the ALS Association is a cause that hits very close to home for Fleet Response. Former employee, Megan Coyle Rivera, lost her battle with ALS on April 18th, 2014, less than 2 years from her diagnosis. Megan worked at Fleet Response as a Business Development Coordinator for almost 3 years before being diagnosed with ALS. At only 34 years of age, Megan fought hard to keep her independence and continued working at Fleet Response until the disease made it impossible.

Employees of the Cleveland-based Fleet Management Company had the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for the chance to win Cleveland Indians Baseball themed gift baskets. The raffle baskets, donated by Fleet Response, included a variety of baseball themed prizes, including game tickets to the Cleveland Indians season home opener.

“We continue to be blown away with the participation and money raised by our employees during this annual fundraiser” said Allison Lanzilotta, Executive Vice President. “This year our employees raised over $1,000, which will be added to the annual monetary donation Fleet Response makes to ALS in memory of Megan and other employees who have had family members touched by this disease.”
